Yes...Thank you for your comment Middletown Insider. Yes, the conditions in our Correctional Institutions is deteriorating, but that is a whole other article itself. Unfortunately, yes medical care is a huge issue in the facilities. If you have previous conditions before being incarcerated, you stand a better chance than the next man, but if you've been shot stabbed, or beaten- you're on your own. We will do a story on that in the future, just right now, we really want to help Mr. Clark obtain books for these inmates. And we do h...Yes, inmates are, as you say, people. And we do have an obligation to attempt to reform them. We also have an obligation to provide adequate medical care. Incarceration and loss of liberty are lawful punishments, They don't need to be augmented with the unnecessary suffering of pain.
